How delivery time estimates are calculated for an order start. Here’s a breakdown of the factors involved:
- Order Placement Time (Cutoff Time) – If the order is placed before the cutoff time, it’s processed the same day. If placed after, processing starts the next business day.
- Handling Time – The time taken to prepare and dispatch the order ( 1-2 business days).
- Transit Time – The shipping duration from dispatch to delivery (2-7 business days).
- Public Holidays – Delivery timelines may extend if transit or handling days fall on holidays (non-working days).
Example Calculation:
- Order placed: Thursday, 1 PM (before cutoff).
- Handling time: 1 -2 business day (dispatched Friday).
- Transit time: 2 -7 business days.
- If no holidays, delivery expected by estimated total of 9 days of working days to deliver to customer locations.
- If holiday fellow in between the the day, our delivery shifts to +1 more working day needed.
